Redpath Glass is the business started by glass artist, Georgia Redpath, back in 2007.
Georgia started her working life as a tax specialist in London. But a summer course in stained glass with Ruth Adams at the City Lit (a glass department which sadly no longer exists), reawakened her love of making. After another short course at Central St Martins, she decided to take the plunge and go back to her home town of Lincoln and take an Art Foundation Course.
Five years, a Craft degree and a specialist course at Dudley's International Glass Centre later, she opened her studio at the Ruskin Glass Centre, Stourbridge. Glass making has been practised in and around Stourbridge for more than 400 years, and the area still benefits from specialists who simply can't be found elsewhere in the UK.
Redpath Glass aims to continue the traditions of quality and skill for which the area is famed - while offering a fresh take on the use of glass in architecture and interiors.
